How many spots do you take on at once?+
1 spot right now. I keep the number small on purpose - bi-weekly revisions and same-day replies don't survive volume. When the last one goes, the page says so and you can put your name down for the next opening rather than pay for a slot I can't give you yet.
What happens right after I pay?+
The case intake form and your Trainerize invite land in your inbox the moment payment clears - the form takes about 10 minutes to fill in. I read it personally within 24 hours and message you in the app. Your plan is underway inside 48.
Do I need an app to do this?+
Yes, and it's free to you. Coaching runs through Trainerize on iPhone or Android: your workouts with demo video for every movement, daily logging for bell sessions and brace hours, your bi-weekly photos and measurements, and our direct chat all live in one place. The invite arrives with your intake form. It's how I can see your week as it fills in rather than reconstructing it from memory at check-in.
What conditions do you work with?+
Pectus excavatum (all severity levels), pectus carinatum, rib flare, and combinations. Mixed presentations are common and well within what I work with. You'll lay out your full case in the intake right after checkout, or ask me in the chat first if you're unsure.
What does "custom-fitted equipment" mean exactly?+
For vacuum bells: I take your chest measurements (circumference, sternal depression depth, chest width) and build a bell sized specifically for your anatomy. For rib flare braces: built to your rib angle and circumference. You don't pick a size from a chart - it's manufactured for you.
What's the duration of the coaching programme?+
Minimum 12 weeks, typically 6 months for significant structural correction. The programme runs as long as active correction takes. I don't count weeks. I watch whether your measurements are still moving, and I tell you when they stop.
What age range do you work with?+
Adolescents (with parent involvement) through adults. The correction approach differs by age (cartilage plasticity is a real factor) so age is part of the plan design, not an exclusion criterion.
Do I need to already have equipment, and is it included?+
You don't need anything to start, and the hardware is not included in the $199. Once I've designed your plan I'll tell you what your case actually needs, if anything, and build it to your measurements. As my client you get 15% off a vacuum bell or a brace, and 30% off if you need both. Some cases need neither, and I'd rather tell you that than sell you hardware.
What does a typical week look like?+
Vacuum bell: 2–4 sessions per day of 10–30 minutes each, depending on phase. Brace: 8–16 hours per day. Breathing sequence: 15–20 minutes daily. Exercise plan: 3–4 sessions per week. This is a real-time commitment - I'm not going to understate it.
I struggle to gain weight. Is nutrition really included?+
Fully. Weight gain is half the visual battle with pectus - a filled-out chest hides the dip. I build your meal plan around foods you actually like and adjust it alongside your training. Can't eat veggies? Hate eggs? Tell me and I'll build around it, because a plan you quietly abandon in week three is worth nothing.
Can I run the program from a home gym?+
Yes. The workout plan adapts to whatever you have - a full gym, a home setup with dumbbells and bands, or bodyweight to start. Tell me your setup at intake and the plan gets built around it.
What if I've been doing this for months with no results?+
Plateau navigation is one of the most common reasons people come to coaching. The plan audit - reviewing what you're doing, how much pressure, suction level, positioning, paired exercises - almost always reveals what's blocking progress. Stagnation usually has a specific cause.
Can adults correct PE without surgery?+
Yes - results vary by severity and starting age, but non-surgical correction in adults is well-documented. I work with adults regularly. The plan differs from adolescent cases - longer session times, slower initial progression, more emphasis on connective tissue adaptation. It's not a quick process, but it works.
Do you work with very severe pectus excavatum?+
Yes. Severe cases benefit most from the vacuum bell plan, and I set expectations honestly at intake - severe structural correction takes longer, but visible improvement is absolutely achievable. If your case genuinely needs a surgical consultation, I tell you that too.
Will coaching prepare me for the Nuss procedure if I choose surgery later?+
It can. Stronger chest musculature, better breathing mechanics, and improved posture all make surgery and recovery easier. Some clients improve enough that they cancel the consult, but if you do go ahead, you go in better prepared.
What's the difference between the PE Course and 1-on-1 coaching?+
The PE Course gives you the complete system - plan, breathing mechanics, exercise sequences, measurement methods. 1-on-1 coaching builds a plan specifically for your case from scratch, includes custom equipment fitting, bi-weekly plan revisions, and direct access to me in the Trainerize app. The course is the self-directed path. Coaching is the fastest, most direct path with no guesswork.
How do I know if I need coaching or if the course is enough?+
The comparison further up covers the honest differences. General indicators: if you're motivated, self-directed, and your case is straightforward, the course + guides usually delivers. If you're dealing with a complex presentation, previous failed attempts, or you want the fastest possible result with direct oversight, coaching is the right level. And there's a safety net: if you start coaching and your intake shows a course fits better, I tell you in my first reply and refund the month.
What's the investment?+
$199 per month, flat. That covers your case assessment, the full custom plan, bi-weekly plan revisions, the Trainerize app with direct access to me, and progress tracking. Equipment is the one thing it doesn't cover: if your case needs a bell or a brace, I build it to your measurements at 15% off, or 30% off for both. No tiers, no other extras. Your first month is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee, and you can cancel any month.
What if I want to stop partway through?+
First 30 days: one message gets you a full refund, no questions asked. After that: coaching is month to month, cancel anytime, no lock-in, and you keep everything we built, the plan, the equipment, the documentation. If we're not making progress or the fit isn't right, we'll have that conversation honestly. I'd rather stop and redirect than keep billing a programme that isn't serving you.
