I don't like certain foods. Will I be able to gain weight like most people?
Food intolerance is not an issue at all. I will work with you to integrate foods your body tolerates into your diet to meet your nutritional needs.
Many of us with pectus excavatum are very skinny, so gaining weight can make the deformity less noticeable. Don't worry about food intolerances; we will find suitable alternatives that work for you.
Do I need to track every single meal I eat in order to gain weight?
No, you don't. I never liked counting macros or prepping meals myself. I found it tricky. I don't want you to track your food for the rest of your life.
Instead, I will develop a nutritional strategy that you can enjoy, stay consistent with, and won't break the bank. If you like tracking your meals, you can do it, but it is not required.
How many hours per week do I need to commit to training?
The least amount of training required is two times a week for 30 minutes each workout, which totals 60 minutes of weightlifting a week. During these sessions, you'll train your entire body with three or four compound exercises.
We can customize the workout length based on your available time and motivation. For the best results, aim for 3-4 days a week, with each session lasting 45 minutes.
How soon can I see results?
This coaching program is not a quick-fix solution for your pectus excavatum deformity. More extreme use of the vacuum bell and intense exercising and dieting can bring faster results, but these are temporary and not sustainable.
